If you have already installed the trial version of BitReplica, please follow these steps: 1. Copy your license code from the order confirmation e-mail. To do this, just highlight the code in the email then right-click on it and choose Copy. 2. Launch your BitReplica trial and click on Help - Register BitReplica, in the menu in the top left corner of the program. 3. In the window that appears, right-click inside the registration field and choose Paste to enter your license code. 4. Press the Register button, and restart the application. If you haven't installed the BitReplica trial yet, please install it first and then follow the instructions above to register the program. You can download the BitReplica installation file using the following link: http://www.bitreplica.com/download/auslogics-bitreplica-setup.exe Possible problems: If you are getting a message that the code is incorrect, there might be a space either before, after, or in the middle of the code.

Yes, all backups created by BitReplica have an open format. Usually, it is a regular folder that can be easily explored, but you can set the program to save backups in a .zip archive that can be unzipped any time, which does not require BitReplica.

Yes, you can back up your BitReplica settings by choosing File - Configuration - Export from the program menu. In the window that appears you will need to specify which settings you would like to back up. The settings can later be imported into the program by selecting File - Configuration - Import from the menu.
Yes. You can do that by selecting View - View Logs from the program menu. Hint: in the window that appears you can run a search for backups made using a specific profile.
Yes. When creating or editing a profile, you can go to the Advanced section and specify file types to be excluded. This feature is useful when, for instance, you prefer not to save *.tmp or *.log files.
