• How do I register Auslogics BitReplica?

  If you have already installed the trial version of BitReplica, please follow these steps:
  1. Copy your license code from the order confirmation e-mail. To do this, just highlight the code in the email then right-click on it and choose Copy.
  2. Launch your BitReplica trial and click on Help - Register BitReplica, in the menu in the top left corner of the program.
  3. In the window that appears, right-click inside the registration field and choose Paste to enter your license code.
  4. Press the Register button, and restart the application.
  
  If you haven't installed the BitReplica trial yet, please install it first and then follow the instructions above to register the program. You can download the BitReplica installation file using the following link: http://www.bitreplica.com/download/auslogics-bitreplica-setup.exe
  
  Possible problems:
  If you are getting a message that the code is incorrect, there might be a space either before, after, or in the middle of the code.
  

• What other products does Auslogics make?

  Auslogics Software specializes in developing computer optimization, Internet speed-up, disk and registry maintenance and defragmentation tools, virus and spyware protection, and even emergency file recovery tools. • Will I be able to use my backups if I stop using the program?

  Yes, all backups created by BitReplica have an open format. Usually, it is a regular folder that can be easily explored, but you can set the program to save backups in a .zip archive that can be unzipped any time, which does not require BitReplica.

• Are there any plans for further development of this software?

  Yes, our team of developers is working on adding zip archive encryption, open/locked file support, capability to save backups to CD`s or DVD`s, as well as saving backups via FTP. We also always listen to customer feedback and try to improve our software to make it better fit our users` needs. Feel free to email us with your comments or suggestions.

• Which Windows versions does Auslogics BitReplica support? Does it work with 64-bit and 32-bit processors?

  Auslogics BitReplica supports the following Windows versions:
  
  a. Windows 7 with SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  b. Windows 8 and 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  c. Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  d. Windows 11
  There are no Mac or Linux versions.

• Can I back up program settings and profile configuration in case I have to reinstall Windows?

  Yes, you can back up your BitReplica settings by choosing File - Configuration - Export from the program menu. In the window that appears you will need to specify which settings you would like to back up. The settings can later be imported into the program by selecting File - Configuration - Import from the menu.

• Can I view a log of program actions?

  Yes. You can do that by selecting View - View Logs from the program menu. Hint: in the window that appears you can run a search for backups made using a specific profile.

• Can I exclude certain files from my backups?

  Yes. When creating or editing a profile, you can go to the Advanced section and specify file types to be excluded. This feature is useful when, for instance, you prefer not to save *.tmp or *.log files.
